Wool batting are 100% organic Shetland wool (raised without pesticides or other chemical treatments) raised here on the farm from our flock of sheep. Shetland wool is famously soft yet durable.  Comes in thick wool batts for quilting or using in a duvet comforter (duvet cover are now included). It would make a lovely lasting gift for family and friends.

The King size batt is 4 inches thick and uniform throughout. I use mine for a comforter all winter long and it's seriously warmer than an electric blanket without the added cost! Our corgis appreciate the warmth too as they cuddle up on our bed each night. Convo me if you're interested in the Queen or Twin as limited quantity is available. This is perfect for a kids bed and it's organic to boot.

Description: One King size comforter approximately 4 x 108 x 90 inches. That is 4 inches thick. The wool batt comes with a white zippered cotton duvet cover so it's ready to use. Cover with your own colorful duvet cover for extra protection. 

Care instructions: The wool batting once covered in a cotton cover (included) will be protected and won't need to be washed. It's basically to ensure the cleanliness and wear and tear on the wool. You can use any type of duvet cover you would like and that can be washed as needed. Some folks after many years (depending on use) like to take the wool into a shop to have the wool re-fluffed. Otherwise, enjoy for many years!
